Blackjack, also known as 21, is a game that many casino players love. It is a simple game in that it doesn’t require knowing a lot of different rules and regulations. The object of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over or ‘busting’ while beating the dealer’s hand at the same time. One advantage to know is that the dealer must stand (or stay) when their cards equal 17 whereas you have the option of standing or dealing.
At the beginning of the game you will notice that you start off with 1,000 credits to play with. This is located at the bottom right hand side of the screen. In the same box is where you will place your bets. To place a bet you click on the up or down arrow to increase or decrease your bet. Once you have placed a bet, click on ‘deal’ to get your first two cards. Your cards will be displayed face up with a total amount of the two together displayed in a blue box next to your cards. The dealer’s hand will show one card which is what you will use to help you to determine whether you want to hit or stay.
After you’ve decided whether you want to ‘hit’ to get another card or ‘stand’ to keep what you want the dealer’s card will be revealed and you will know whether you have won or not. Your earnings and credits are kept in the bottom right hand side of the screen so that you always know what you have available. There are other options available as well such as ‘double’, ‘split’ and ‘insurance’ which may help you to increase your odds at winning as well as how much you win.
Playing Stand or Deal will help you to understand the game better if you are not familiar with Blackjack and will also help improve your skills if you are an advanced player.
